We have just held our latest 3 day Preaching Workshop at Drummoyne in Sydney.
The workshop is limited to 8 preachers, this time coming from Qld, WA, regional NSW and Sydney.
The facilitators this week were David Burge, Janet Riley and me,
It was an encouraging time when each Pastor preached his latest sermon and then on Day 3 preached a sermon prepared during the workshop. Both David and I also preached.
Each sermon is critiqued and preachers given an area of preparation to work on, this together with the interaction over meals made the time a really valuable oasis for those who came.
Here are some of the comments: ‘This workshop has not only helped to improve my preaching but I found it to be an incredibly encouraging time with like minded people’ ‘Having the opportunity to sit with people who love teaching the Bible, to receive helpful instruction and feedback, this is a great blessing and worth everything to attend’.
The next Sydney workshop will be held in Drummoyne, May 28-30, 2024. The cost is $200, limited to 8 preachers, for participants from a distance, accomodation can be arranged. Please register through the web’s contact form.
